DIALY NEWS QADIAN District Legal Services Authority launched legal literacy awareness campaign at Dasmesh Senior Secondary School Qadian

 

Qadian  2 November (Gurpreet singh ) District Legal Services Authority  under the chairmanship of Mr. Rajinder Agarwal,  district sessions judge cum chairman of District Legal Services Authority and Secretary Legal Services Authority-cum- civil Judge Miss  Navdeep Kaur Gill  commenced  Legal literacy campaign in the district.  

 Today, under this initiative, an awareness campaign was started in the education institution of the district and a special program was organized in Dashmesh Senior Secondary School of Education Block Kadian-1 in which more than 500 students were made aware about legal literacy.  The block level seminar was conducted at Dasmesh Senior Secondary School under the chairmanship of Director  Paramjit Kaur and Principal Mr. Surinder Singh Bhangu.  In which Parminder Singh Saini District Guidance Counselor-cum-Nodal Officer Legal District Service Authority was the chief guest  and Mukesh Verma coordinator DLSA as special guest.  He enlightened the students by providing information about the Legal Services Act and the basic rights  in detail.  Giving information about this, Parminder Singh Saini, , said that under this campaign, from 31-10-2022 to 13-11-2022, the students who are studying in 6th to 12th in 970 schools of 19 educational blocks 2,50,000 students   of schools and about 50,000 students of colleges and ITIs will be made aware about legal literacy.

   On this occasion, a skit was presented by the school students, in which the information about basic legal authority was legalisation given and the students made a chart and exhibited information about legal literacy.  At this time 500 students and 15 teachers of the institution were present.
