42 sanitation workers are working for 4889 houses for this project

  Qadian 2 November  (Gurpreet singh):Under the leadership of Brand Ambassador Mukesh Verma and In-charge Swachh Bharat Abhiyan  Nisha Deval, people were motivated to manage dry and wet waste in different wards.   Motivating the people, Mukesh Verma, Brand Ambassador of Swachhta Abhiyan of Municipal Council qadian, said that dry waste includes polythene paper, but people of Municipal Council qadian area do not follow this rule.  Mixing of wet and dry garbage creates bad smell.  This waste is of no use. If wet and dry waste are separated, wet waste can be composted while dry waste can be recycled.  He said that the pollution spread around us spreads many terrible diseases like dengue, malaria, chikungunya, cholera.  So we should keep the wet and dry garbage separately to keep the people around us and ourselves safe. He quoted Municipal Council Executive Officer Arun Kumar Inspector Kamaljit and Nisha Deval as saying that in Qadian city there are a total of 4889 houses, in which about 23000 people live.  He said that the duty of 42 sanitation workers has been assigned to collect wet and dry garbage, for which they go to people's houses every morning in 20 rickshaws of green and blue color and collect wet and dry garbage.  Also, 15 carts have also been added.  Inspector Kamalpreet Singh alias Raja was also present on this occasion.
